A painting by designer Jenabah Yazzie (Diné, Navajo Nation) comes to life on this Made in USA wool blanket. Yazzie feels the presence of the Holy People most in the earliest hours before sunrise. She portrays this special time for prayer in an ombre of dark hues. A border of triangles represents the never-ending love and protection of the Holy People. In the center, the Star People shine day and night. Horizontal lines represent infinite prayers. This winner of the Tribal College student design competition conveys the power of prayer with simplicity, balance, and grace.

About the artist:
Jenabah Yazzie (Diné) is from Lok'aa' (Reed Springs), just north of Teesto, Arizona on the Navajo Nation. A winner of the Tribal Student Design competition, she is studying psychology at Diné College. “Infinite Prayer” is one of her paintings. She is artistically inspired by teachings and songs passed down from her family. Her late father’s artistic abilities led her to drawing and painting. She believes that art and culture go hand in hand. “Art is an extension of thoughts, emotions and energy that you make visible for others…a medicine that helps both mentally and spiritually.”
